Perth City and Surrounds

This section of Perth Walkabout is dedicated to exploring the surrounding areas of Perth, including the buzz of happening cafe strips, trendy shopping precincts, lively entertainment areas, and recreational spots in the great outdoors.

Some of the suburbs that will be featured in Perth Walkabout include East Perth, Inglewood, Northbridge, Leederville, Subiaco, Mount Lawley, and Fremantle. Each has their own unique attractions to offer visitors and locals alike.

Discover the best local café hangouts, know where the latest foodie hot spots in Perth and surrounding areas are, or enjoy a pleasant outing at a favourite recreational spot.

Favourite Places

Perth Walkabout will be featuring favourite places to visit in Perth City and Surrounds in the coming weeks.

Claisebrook Cove, East Perth
The Claisebrook Cove in the East Perth precinct is a vibrant inner city area about a 15 minute walk from the Perth CBD, and is a very popular place for recreational activities and dining out. Go to Claisebrook Cove, East Perth

Inglewood
The suburb of Inglewood is an established inner suburb approximately 5 kilometres north east of the Perth CBD. Its character houses and old suburb charm along "The Avenues" has always been popular and its thriving cafe strip along Beaufort Street has a great range of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Go to Inglewood.
