EAST END PIZZA BAR
Shop 2, 113 Royal St, East Perth
Ph: 9221 0920
The East End Pizza Bar is a welcome addition to the strip of eateries along Royal St in East Perth. It was the first pizza bar to open in the area although a few of the nearby cafes also offer wood-fired pizza.
Take away trade is its main stay with a handful of tables available for dining in.
The East End Pizza Bar has a good range of pizzas around the $15-$20 mark for a large pizza. It also offers salads to take away. We had pre-ordered a salmon and capers large pizza to share amongst 3 people. We also ordered a Mediterranean salad for $5 with the usual suspects of lettuce, tomato, red onions, fetta and olives in a light oil dressing.
With pizza and salad in hand, we wandered down to picnic at the Cove Promenade. This is a very pleasant spot for picnics with a couple of sheltered tables overlooking the lake and plenty of shade under trees.
The pizza was tasty and light. It was reasonably generous with the salmon, was laden with lots of capers and was not too heavy on the cheese. It is quite thin though, so if you have a big appetite, one large pizza would be suitable for one to two people. The salad was nice and fresh.
Nice one guys and now the East End has some decent pizza to offer.
