Renowned for being the 3rd largest festival in the world of its kind, the Fringe World Festival 2018 will kick off in Perth with fireworks of its own over the 26th January Australia Day long weekend.
In the upcoming month, audiences will be entertained by an action packed program of comedy, theatre, circus, comedy, cabaret, dance and musical acts. There is something for every taste – with individual shows rated from mild “family friendly” to very hot on the saucy sizzle scale.
Some highlights over the season include:
The Buskers Weekend
Street buskers will take to the Murray St and Hay St malls in the Perth CBD over the weekend 2nd to 4th February with over 100 performances.
His Majesty’s Theatre Fringe Hub
Louisa Fitzhardinge of Coma Sutra fame will be at the helm to kick off The Maj Gala on the 27th January, which will showcase the treats in store for audiences at the intimate cabaret venue of Downstairs at the Maj.
Club Swizzle
