La Soirée have arrived back in Perth for their biggest show yet!
The Fringe World atmosphere is in the air around Perth as tents are being set up to host one of the largest fringe events in the world.
The much anticipated La Soirée will kick off festivities this Friday with their opening night – they are back by popular demand for the third year running.
This year La Soirée presents a hot line up of our favourite acts, along with the debut of some stunning and amazing new performers.
Walk by the Cathedral Square precinct on the corner of Hay Street and Barrack Street in the Perth CBD and you’ll see the distinctive Edith Spiegeltent set up.
Look out for the dare devil act of skating duo Leo (Leandro Zeferino Micaelo) and Ursula (Ursula Nunez). The dynamic husband and wife team’s hard work and intensive training has paid off.
Says Leo “Initially I trained intensively for 2 years, sometimes 6 hours a day. I’ve been performing for 6 years now.”
Their amazing high speed roller skating G force act has to be seen to be believed.
Hailing from Moscow Valeria Murzak dazzles with her amazing gymnastic act, which is executed with intense concentration and amazing poise on her glitter ball.
All time favourites that have returned to Perth include Captain Frodo with his unique tennis racquet bender act. It’s not the racquet that bends but Captain Frodo himself. Ouch – yes. Perth audiences will also remember Hamish McCann with his stylish and sexy cabaret pole act rendition of Singing in the Rain.
The night is young so head on down to La Soirée for a mind-bending evening of cabaret performers who will blow off the roof with their mesmerising acts.
La Soiree at Perth Fringe will open tonight and run to the 26 Feb.
