The Perth Caribbean Association will kick off its inaugural film night on the 2nd August and where better to host its first Caribbean film night than in Fremantle, the cultural heart of Perth.
Doors open at 6pm so arrive early to soak up the Caribbean vibes and relax into the evening. The evening will start off with a short film at 6.20pm followed by the feature film Marley, a documentary on the life, music, and legacy of Bob Marley by director Kevin Macdonald. The film brings to its audiences his unique life story, including rare footage of the music legend, and interviews with key people that played an instrumental role in his life.
This inaugural film night promises to be a fantastic night of entertainment and the Perth Caribbean Association would like to extend a warm invite to anyone in Perth who is interested in coming along for the evening.
The Perth Caribbean Association represents the interests and wellbeing of persons from and associated with the Caribbean islands and seeks to provide assistance and events for our members and communities in WA through the promotion of Caribbean culture, arts and education.
