There are plenty of outdoor events happening in Perth for the month of March 2014.  Here is a round up of local community outdoor concerts, fairs and markets to check out this upcoming month.

Superheroes Hyde Park Fair

Catch the Superheroes Hyde Park Fair on this Sunday 2nd March and Monday 3rd March from 10am each day. On offer will be a range of arts and crafts stalls, food stalls, live music and entertainment, kindly brought to the community by The Rotary Club of North Perth. Hyde Park is located on the corner of William Street and Vincent Street. Perth.

Maylands Twilight Hawkers Market

Maylands Twilight Hawkers Market brought to us by the Lions Club returns on the 8th March. Note that there will no markets tonight on the Labour Day long weekend. Based at The Rise, on Eight Avenue in Maylands, enjoy a relaxing evening sampling the foods from different countries such as The Amaizing Stall with its twist on Venezuelan and Australian fusion food, Bangkok Jump Street, and Marcelita’s Empanadas from Colombia.

WAAPA in the Park

The WA Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) brings its performance to the park on Saturday, 22 March 2014 for the whole family to enjoy. The evening will be held at the Ron Stone Park in Mt Lawley from 7pm to 9pm so bring a picnic rug and hamper to enjoy a concert under the stars.

Feature at Lightning Park

The 8th March 2014 will be the City of Bayswater’s Feature at Lightning Park event, to be held at Lightning Park, located on the corner of Reid and Tonkin Highway in Noranda. Chidren’s activities will commence at 5pm and will run through to 7pm, with a concert featuring Perth’s very own “PINked” tribute band. Light refreshments and a sausage sizzle will be available during the evening.

Live At the Quarry at City Beach

The Quarry Amphitheater kicked off its season of outdoor concerts in November last year and will run through to the 22nd of March. The line up of performers include Josh Pyke on the 12th and 13th march, The Whitlams on the 14th, 15th and 16th of March, and the Kate Miller Heidke on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd March.

Limestone Concert Series 2014

The Limestone Concert Series 2014 concert series brings to us live music on Sunday, 16th March, when the Sunset Swing – Darling Buds of May perform at the Limestone Amphitheatre. The Amphitheatre, is located at10 Almondbury Road, Booragoon  with parking available off Davy Street. Bring a picnic, and enjoy the music from 5pm to 730pm. The event is organized by the City of Melville.
